Welcome
So, you’ve probably guessed I’m Steve. I make things: graphics, videos, CAD drawings, and experiential event plans.
I’ve worked in the events industry for quite a while, specialising in video and lighting. That background naturally brings strong general AV skills to the table, along with a deep understanding of how all the pieces fit together on a real-world show. I’ve designed exhibition stands and experiential projects & authored two training courses for major equipment manufacturers in this industry (Brompton Technology & Avolites), So you could say I’m the guy who taught the skills people need to do the job. I believe the formal term is SME (Subject Matter Expert).
Over the years, this journey has given me a versatile skill set that I’d love to bring to your organisation. I built this site because a traditional CV rarely shows personality. It’s usually just a wall of keywords, and if they aren't arranged perfectly, a computer filters you out before an actual human ever sees it.
Over the years, I've self-taught myself the majority of the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, and After Effects), a bit of Cinema 4D, Vectorworks, AutoCAD, as well as Canva, Resolume, and Figma. I've also picked up WordPress, Monday.com, and plenty of automation tools like Make.com, alongside a bunch of other tech that complements the lot.
You might be looking at this site thinking it’s a bit quirky. You wouldn’t be wrong, but I can certainly deliver polished, serious work when required. I’ll be continually updating the site with new case studies, technical projects, CAD work, and exhibition designs as time goes on.
